This Privacy Policy explains how BLACKLINE SOLUTIONS S.R.L. (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Romania and the operator of Business Brain (“the service”), handles information in connection with this website and the Business Brain product. Business Brain is currently under development and is not yet publicly available; this policy describes our intended handling of data and applies as features become available.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information collected through this website
This public website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. When you visit, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs to deliver and secure the site. If you email us, we receive the contents of your message and your email address.
Account and authentication data
If you create an account in the product, we process the email address you use to sign in. Business Brain uses passwordless “magic link” sign-in and a server-side session; we do not store passwords. We keep the minimal records needed to operate your account and sessions.
Business data you connect or upload
The product lets you voluntarily connect business sources or upload documents so Business Brain can analyse them for you. This “business evidence” is processed to produce your own analysis and is associated with your account. You choose what to connect or upload.
Connected third-party services
If you choose to connect a third-party service, we store an access credential for that service and the specific information the service’s permissions allow us to read (described below). Integrations may only access information you explicitly authorize, and only to the extent of the permissions you grant. You can disconnect at any time.
3. Third-party integrations, including Meta platforms
Integrations are optional and take effect only when you connect them and grant permission. We access only what the granted permissions allow, use it solely to produce your own analysis, and do not sell or share it.
Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). A Meta integration is planned and is
pending Meta’s review and our verification; it is not currently live.
When available and only if you connect your Meta account, the integration is designed to access, on a
read-only basis and with your explicit consent: the list of Facebook Pages you manage
(pages_show_list); your selected Page’s audience data such as fan and follower counts
(pages_read_engagement); and the basic profile of the linked Instagram Business/Creator
account — username, follower count, and media count (instagram_basic). The integration is
designed not to post, publish, comment, send messages, or modify anything on your
accounts. Any information obtained is used only to show you an analysis of your own business.
4. Why we process information
We process information to: provide and operate the website and the product; authenticate you and maintain your session; analyse the business evidence you connect or upload and present that analysis to you; respond to your enquiries; and keep the service secure and reliable. We process personal data on the legal bases of your consent, performance of our agreement with you, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and then for any period required to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. You can delete connected data at any time by disconnecting a source or deleting your account; see Data Deletion. On deletion we remove the associated data and revoke stored credentials.
6. Service providers
We rely on a small number of third-party providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions — for example, cloud hosting and database infrastructure, transactional email delivery, and the AI/model processing used to analyse connected evidence. These providers may only use the data to provide their service to us. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. Access credentials for connected third-party services are encrypted at rest and are never displayed to you or shared. Access to systems is limited to what is necessary to operate the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim any formal certification or compliance program on this website.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the EU/Romanian GDPR), you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@getbusinessbrain.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP).
9. Data export and deletion
You can disconnect a connected source in the product, which deletes the stored credential and revokes our access at the provider, or request deletion of your data by email. See Data Deletion for full instructions. We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
10. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under applicable law (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.
11. Children
The service is intended for founders and businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected here.
